These sun loving plants are an annual that blooms from spring to fall. They do well in hot humid weather • Prefer loamy, sandy, silt, moist and well-drained soil • They don’t need much fertilizer as this can reduce their bloom time and burn the leaves. Use half strength of recommended amount when fertilizing • Water when the topsoil seems dry, they prefer to stay moist so mulch will help retain their moisture
